Sydney the 4 month old bulldog

Sydney was brought to a vet here in RI by her owners who stated that she was pacing and vomitting blood. Xrays revealed that this little 4 month old bulldog had pulmonary contusions, a diaphragmatic hernia caused by trauma and a dislocated fibula. She had only been with her family for 2 weeks! The owners didn't have the funds to pay for her surgery and comtemplated euthanasia. Thankfully for Sydney, teh vet called us to see if we would be interested in saving her life.Of course we agreed to pick her up and provide her medical care. She is going tomorrow to VCA Northboro where her hernia will be repaired and her leg will be casted.Every dog that we have taken has cost us triple our adoption fee and we can never seem to catch up financially. We count on the generosity of the public so that we can continue helping dogs in need like Sydney.We thank you in advance for helping save this precious puppy!
